Every OKR in OKR Focus is created within a Team—ensuring clear ownership, access control, and alignment around shared priorities.
Why Teams Matter
✅ Organized collaboration: Group members by strategic initiatives or departments.
🔐 Access control: Only Team members can view or interact with that Team’s OKRs and Tasks.
🤝 Focused execution: Each Team has visibility into its own goals, progress, and responsibilities—cutting down on noise and improving clarity.
🧭 Strategic alignment: Teams keep OKRs tied to real, collaborative efforts—not just individual plans.
How Teams Work
- Admins assign members to Teams.
All OKRs must belong to a specific Team.
Only members of a Team can access, view, or contribute to that Team's OKRs.
Tasks within an OKR can be assigned to any Team member by any other Team member.
This ensures a secure, focused environment where each team drives forward its own goals without distractions or access to unrelated initiatives.
Typical Use Cases for Teams
- A Marketing Team managing objectives like “Launch new product campaign.”
A Revenue Team driving “Grow monthly recurring revenue by 25%.”
A Project-based Team collaborating on a one-off goal like “Complete ISO 27001 certification.”
