📌 Adding Tasks to a Cycle

Organizing tasks into Cycles helps your team stay focused and aligned with your planning rhythm—whether you work in sprints, monthly initiatives, or quarterly goals.

âž• How to Add Tasks to a Cycle

  1. Open the Cycle page

    • Select the Cycle to add Tasks to (Must be Active).

  2. Click “+ Add Tasks”

    • This button opens a list of all available tasks that can be assigned to this Cycle.

  3. Select Tasks to Add

    • You can only select tasks that are:

      • Not already assigned to another Cycle.

      • Not marked as completed or archived.

    • Use search or filters to quickly find the right tasks.

  4. Click “Add” button

    • Once you’ve selected the tasks, they’ll be added to the current Cycle and appear in its task list.

⚠️ Note: A task can only belong to one Cycle at a time. If a task is already assigned to a Cycle, it will not appear in the list.

đź’ˇ Pro Tip

Use Cycles to group tasks by sprint, OKR initiative, release phase, or any time-boxed effort. It’s a great way to track progress across a focused timeframe.

To navigate to the Cycle Detail page click on the title bar of the Cycle card  "Cycle 3 May" in this example.
