📊 Cycle Detail Page Overview

The Cycle Detail page provides a real-time snapshot of your team’s progress within a specific planning cycle. It combines visual progress indicators and key metrics to help you track performance and stay on target.

🔄 Cycle Progress Bar
  • Displays the percentage of tasks completed within the Cycle.

  • Automatically updates as tasks are marked done.

  • Offers a quick-glance view of how close the team is to completing the Cycle.

📉 Burn Down Chart
  • Blue Line (Ideal Burn): Represents the optimal pace of completing Story Points across the duration of the Cycle.

  • Green Line (Actual Burn): Tracks your team’s actual progress over time.

  • Useful for spotting deviations early and adjusting efforts if you're ahead or behind schedule.

Use the sync 🔁 icon to the right of the chart too refresh the chart.

📦 Summary Cards

Located at the top of the page, these four cards highlight key metrics:

  1. Total Tasks
Shows how many tasks are assigned to the Cycle.

  2. Total Story Points
Sum of all story points allocated to Cycle tasks.

  3. Story Points Completed
Tracks the number of story points completed so far.

  4. Tasks Completed
Number of tasks marked as complete out of the total.

✅ Completing a Cycle

Clicking the Complete Cycle button is how you close out a planning period and move forward. However, if there are still unfinished tasks in the cycle, you’ll be prompted to decide what to do with them.

🔄 What Happens Next?

If there are incomplete tasks, you’ll be presented with options based on your current cycle setup:

1. Move Tasks to next cycle

If you already have a Backlog cycle (a future, inactive cycle):

  • A dropdown menu will appear showing available backlog cycles.

  • You can select one to move the unfinished tasks into.

  • Once selected, tasks are reassigned and the current cycle is marked complete.

2. remove from Cycle (Make Available Later)

If there are no backlog cycles:

  • You’ll see an option to Remove all unfinished tasks from the current cycle.

  • These tasks are returned to the general task pool and can be assigned in future cycles.

  • After this, the cycle will be marked complete.

3. Cancel and Keep Cycle Active

Not ready to finish the cycle?

  • Click Cancel to abort the completion process.

  • The cycle will remain active and no changes will be made.

This process ensures that no unfinished work is lost and that you stay in control of how tasks transition between cycles.

🗂️ View Modes

You can toggle between two display options:

  • List View – A compact, table-like format ideal for scanning and managing multiple tasks quickly.

  • Kanban View – A visual board layout grouped by task status (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Done), great for tracking workflow and progress visually.

👤 Task Filters

Use the filter options to customize which tasks are shown:

  • All Tasks – Displays every task in the cycle.

  • My Tasks – Shows only tasks assigned to you.

This makes it easy to focus on your own work or get a full team-wide overview.

✏️ Task Management (CRUD)

All Create, Read, Update, and Delete functionality for tasks in this section is consistent with what's available on:
